Working with sleepers
Ground-level and rooftop decks present unique challenges when it comes to water management and air circulation. Arrange the sleepers on the existing patio and install decking. Be sure to allow a 1/4" gap between the long edges of the deck boards. Drainage and ventilation are necessary for the best product performance. See installation instructions for full details.
